The Jones Chapel UMC Praise Band is comprised of members of the church that have a singular goal in mind; to bring the light of the Lord to the congregation through contemporary and uplifting music. The purpose of the Jones Chapel Praise Band is to bring honor and glory to Jesus Christ while also uplifting the spirit of both our congregation and community.
Everyong is welcome to be a part of this group, whether it be in a musical, vocal, or suportive capacity. The Praise Band is under the direction of the Jones Chapel UMC Music Minister, Leigh Anne Myers. The Praise Band plays at the 8:30 service at Jones Chapel UMC, on Laity Night (every 5th Sunday of the Month)in the Family Life Center, and at the traditional 11:00 service, on special occasions.
