All About SusanSusan grew up in Wilkes County, GA. This is the closest she’s lived to home since leaving home more than 30 years ago. She attended Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School and college Kennesaw State University. Susan received her Master of Divinity from Candler School of Theology (Emory University), in Atlanta, GA and is currently working toward her Doctor of Ministry degree at Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA. She was married to Tony Taylor in 1980 and is the mother of two children. Her first born, Meredith Nappi, is 27 years old, married to Lee, and expecting her first child in March 2012. The youngest child, Robin Taylor will be 20 years old in October 2011, and currently is in her second year at the University of North Carolina in Wilmington where she is majoring in marine biology. In 2008, Susan was delighted to discover that she had been assigned to Jones Chapel UMC by the bishop of the North Georgia Conference. Susan firmly believes that the people of the church are its strongest assets (that includes both the volunteers and the staff). She is passionate about telling others about Jesus Christ and his saving grace. Susan absolutely loves to sing and is extremely excited about being a grandmother soon. She enjoys music, reading, gardening, and crocheting. Susan loves mission work, especially if she gets an opportunity to do something outdoors. In her own words, “The congregation at Jones Chapel is simply the best!”

Leigh Anne is also the director of the Hand Chime Choir, director of the Children's Choir, and the co-director of the Jones Chapel UMC Summer Day Camp.
All About Leigh AnneLeigh Anne grew up in Reed Creek (just outside of Hartwell), GA with her father, Tony Osborne, where she graduated from Hart County High School in 2004. After High School, Leigh Anne attended Emmanuel College, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2009; and is now attending Mercer University, pursuing a Master of Science in Professional School Counseling with her expected graduation date being May of 2012. She then hopes to pursue her Educational Specialist Degree in School Psychology from the University of Alabama. She moved to Danielsville, GA in 2008 with her husband, Nathan Myers and also has a miniature Yorkshire terrier named Smokey. While engaged to Nathan, Leigh Anne applied for a position as music minister at Jones Chapel UMC in the summer of 2007. Upon accepting the position as music minister she began working at Jones Chapel UMC as the choir director. Since then, God has led her to also serve in the Jones Chapel Praise Team; as well as acting as the director of the children’s choir, Hand Chime Ensemble, and co-director of the Jones Chapel UMC Summer Day Camp. Leigh Anne’s best assets in the church include good people skills, being very organized, always willing to help when needed, and a Christ centered desire to put others needs before her own. Leigh Anne is very passionate about helping the congregation of Jones Chapel UMC experience Christ through music and fun. Leigh Anne volunteers with the Madison County Senior Center, the American Christian Counselor Association at Mercer University, and with many events with Jones Chapel UMC. Leigh Anne’s passions lie in music, counseling, cooking, nature, family, animals, and Beverly Lewis books. Leigh Anne enjoys being outside, going for walks, playing with Smokey, watching the food channel, spending time with family and friends, and talking on the phone.

All About PattiPatti is a part of one of the most talented singing families at Jones Chapel. She graduated Athens Christian School in 1990. She studied interpreting for the deaf and hearing impaired at Liberty University. Patti started attending Jones Chapel United Methodist Church in 2004 and became a member in 2006. She has been happily married to her husband, Marcus, for 18 years. Marcus, along with being a merchandise distributor for AmeriPride Uniform Services, is also a worship leader for Compass Community Church in Athens, GA. She has 4 children. Karlie is attending the cullinary program at Athens Tech. Chastin is on scholarship at Piedmont College in Demorest, GA, majoring in Music. Noel is in the 9th Grade and Noah is in the 7th Grade at Madison County. Patti is very passionate about working with the children and the youth at Jones Chapel. The past few years, she has enjoued being the children's choir director and now the Youth Director. She particularly enjoys helping the youth conduct community service or mission projects. Patti firmly believes that one is never too young to contribute to the community and make a difference. Patti enjoys crocheting blankets and scarfs. She is in the process of learning Spanish, enjoys reading such authors as Karen Kingsbury, Lori Wick, Francine Rivers, and Bervly Lewis, and enjoys exercising to P90X.
